Infants (12Months- 24 Months) It is our program philosophy that infants need extra care and attention as this is the exploratory phase of their lives where interaction and repetition is key. We utilize the Ages and Stages curriculum for this age group. The infant curriculum is focused on personal, social and emotional growth. Through speech, listening and demonstration, we feel this is the best way to assist in an infants learning experience. Children are assessed to determine if he/she is developmentally at the correct stage. Child Daily Reports are provided to all parents/guardians. |

Toddler (2yrs-3yrs) Our program is design to develop each Toddler's blossoming independence. We follow the Ages and Stages Curriculum as well as Creative Curriculum for our toddlers. We assist with potty training and ask that at this stage Pull-Ups with out "Onsies" are utilized on a daily basis. We ask that all parents continue with the same daily routine we implement in the school or if you have started a routine at home advise us of the process and follow it during the school day. Children are assessed to determine if he/she is developmentally at the correct stage. Child Daily Reports are provided to all parents/guardians until parent reaches comfort level. |

Preschoolers (3yrs-5yrs) Our Preschool Curriculum follows the Brigance Curriculum/Assessment in conjunction with the Creative Curriculum. We feel that children learn a great deal of information through free play as well as a structured yet repetitious class setting. At this stage in their educational growth motor sills, science, math, reading writing as well as social studies should be introduce and the fundamentals should be instilled. This is why the MiniVentures daily schedule is followed consistently at this age level. Parental consistency is key and encouraged. Child Daily reports are utilized at this stage to indicate keys areas of needed and noticed improvement in a child's work pattern. The Educational Director on Staff will review all child assessments prepared by the Head Teacher and will evaluate each child to determine if the child is ready to move forward. A Child promotion sheet will be provided by the current teacher to the Parent/ Guardian, new Teacher and Educational Director which will indicate the child's strengths and areas that may need improvement. A copy will also be maintained in the child's file. |
